BOOKING CONDITIONS:
Full payment of the booking cost is required prior to and for participation in any Biking In Squamish booking.

Providing Biking In Squamish with a signed liability waiver is MANDATORY for all rentals.

Riders under 18 years of age must have the liability waiver signed also by a parent or guardian

The liability waiver must be filled out in full to be considered complete>

Half day rental bookings are taken day of subject to availability. We do not take half day bookings online. For half day bookings, please phone our store, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you are reserving a bike in advance, it will alway be considered a full day rental, but you will have the requested bike ready for your arrival.

Clients wishing to cancel or reschedule may incur penalties. Please see details under Cancellations below.
PAYMENT POLICY:

Unless otherwise indicated, all prices listed on our website are in Canadian Dollars.

Listed prices do not include tax. An additional 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be added to the booking total. We will apply the appropriate tax rate when you book.

Certain goods and products on our website are subject to an additional 7% provincial sales tax (PST). We will apply the appropriate total tax rate when you book.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations by clients must be submitted in writing by email to bikinginsquamish@gmail.com. For last minute cancellations we ask you to please also text our office as soon as possible, if outside of office hours, please leave a message. Doing so provides our staff and other participants with early warning and reduces inconvenience for all. Cancellations are not confirmed until you have received a response via email or text from our office. Please note cancellations cannot be accepted outside of office hours.>
LATE POLICY:
All Rentals:

All Bicycles and Equipment must be returned no later than the end date and time as indicated on the invoice or they will be considered a late return.>

In the event of a late return, you will be charged $25/per bike per 15 mins additional rental fees for the duration of the delay.>

Bicycles and Equipment that are returned the following day after a rental period ends will be charged an additional non-discounted 24hr day rate for each item.>
DAMAGES:

Any damages to Bicycles and Equipment must be made apparent to staff upon returning.>

Customers are responsible for the cost of repair for any damage that would typically be incurred by an impact or accident, as judged by our staff. We will charge parts and labour used to bring the Bicycle or Equipment back into suitable rentable condition.>

Damage Insurance is NOT INCLUDED by default with a Rental Bike. Add Damage Insurance to cover the costs of parts and labour (up to $200) if you damage the rental bike. This could includes things like rims, tires, derailleurs, handlebars, grips and other small parts. If you do not purchase insurance, you are liable for damages to your rental equipment. Rental insurance is charged per day. This does not cover damage caused during transportation of the bike on a vehicle.>

Riders caught with rental bikes in Whistler Bike park will be required to pay for a full overhaul of the bike– THIS IS A $850 FEE>

BOOKING SPECIFIC CANCELLATION POLICY:
Some programs have a specific cancellation policy that applies differently and only to that program. In that case, the specific booking policy will be clearly outlined and have precedence over our general cancellation policy.
Dealing with Cancellations or Rescheduling by either BIS or by the client:

CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING BY Biking In Squamish
Due to extenuating circumstances beyond our control, Biking In Squamish may be forced cancel or reschedule a booking. In this case Biking In Squamish may at its sole discretion:

Reschedule the program>

Provide a credit>

Provide a refund>
Biking In Squamish may not be held responsible or liable for any costs or inconvenience incurred as a result of cancelling or rescheduling a booking.>
Trip Cancelation Insurance for Canadians or Visitors to Canada wishing to insure other portions of their visit (flights, hotels, transport, etc.):
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
For gift certificates purchased the following terms and conditions apply:

No expiry date

This certificate is valid only with Biking In Squamish

The certificate is transferable but not refundable or redeemable for cash

In the case of a lost or stolen gift certificate Biking In Squamish requires a photo ID of the original payee

Any balance remaining is not exchangeable for cash. It will be held as a credit for future use.

Any additional cost exceeding the value of this voucher will be paid by the redeemer.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISKS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
Adventure Sports Activities involve many risks, dangers and hazards. These risks and hazards are outlined in our release of liability, waiver of claims, the assumption of risks, and indemnity Agreement which all participants are required to read and sign before participating in an Adventure Sports Activity. This Agreement will affect your legal rights should you be involved in an accident. You may obtain a copy of the Agreement from our office.
